Laminated beams/shafts of annular cross-section subject to combined loading

چکیده
A novel stress analysis method is developed for the efficient design of radially laminated annular beams/shafts subject to arbitrary load combinations. The conducted using classic laminate theory (CLT) in conjunction with a mechanics materials (MoM) approach based on plane section assumption. Global loads are related global deformations and expressed terms generalised strains CLT. verified against MoM homogeneous isotropic tube. Further validation finite element shown general cases loading layups almost perfect agreement.
